With a mix of engineers, real estate professionals, draftsmen, apprentices, as well as highly motivated working students, interns in the context of practical semesters, and those working on thesis projects, we form a dynamic and intercultural team. We possess a diverse range of skills and competencies, along with a wide spectrum of professional experience. This diversity in expertise and perspectives allows us to creatively and effectively address and realize the challenges of our industry for our clients.
The three partners, Sven Sumiejski, Yanneck Weitzel, and Prof. Dr. Felix Meckmann decided in mid-2023 to join forces in the real estate consulting prof. dr. meckmann + partners gmbh to establish. This was preceded by Felix's long-standing independence with an engineering and expert office since 2008. The three have known each other for several years through the Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences (HRW) in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Sven took modules taught by Felix during his studies and ultimately graduated from the university with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering. After completing his studies, Sven started his first full-time job at Felix's company in the field of energy efficiency and sustainable construction, and furthered his education to become an energy consultant, DGNB auditor, and ESG manager. After Yanneck completed his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at HRW, he met Felix during his second Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Management. Here, Felix mentored him during his thesis before Yanneck pursued professional experiences in the field of building damage assessment and technical due diligence (acquisition audit). In the meantime, Yanneck has furthered his education to become an ESG manager. This connection between academic knowledge and practical expertise forms the foundation of our innovative working method.
